Our Culture

At KW St. Johns, culture isn’t just what we say, it’s what we do. From giving back locally to supporting one another as agents, our culture is at the heart of who we are.

What is KW Culture?

Culture is the result of organizing the goals of a business around solid, positive, core values and then proceeding to cultivate them on a daily basis.

We believe that true success is built on collaboration, generosity, and integrity. By cultivating these values daily, we create an environment where agents thrive, clients feel cared for, and communities grow stronger.

What Is Red Day?

Renew, Energize, and Donate is an initiative dedicated to celebrating Keller Williams’ year-round commitment to improving our local communities. Each year, on the second Thursday in May, tens of thousands of associates participate in a wide range of projects, devoting their time to renewing and energizing aspects of the neighborhoods in which they serve. Projects are chosen by each individual market center based on a need they see within its community. Recognizing her leadership in guiding the culture of the company, RED Day is held in honor of Mo Anderson, Vice Chairman of the Board. It’s an entrenched part of our culture and displays the extraordinary effect a company can have when individuals come together to work as a team for the greater good of everyone.

Community First

Since 2009, RED Day has embodied Keller Williams’ commitment to serving others. Established in honor of former CEO Mo Anderson’s birthday, this annual tradition reflects her lasting impact as a leader and her dedication to building a culture of giving.

Making a Difference Together

From building homes and feeding families to supporting disaster relief and fundraising for local charities, KW associates have consistently stepped up to create meaningful change in both their neighborhoods and around the globe.

“The opportunity to share ideas and a conversation sparked something incredible: the decision to join forces and create a brand new Keller Williams office in St. Johns County. That was less than two years ago and, now, here we are, bringing that vision to life.”

– Cherya Cavanaugh

Agent Testimonial

George Pottenkulam

“I wanted to be a part of the KW St. Johns launch because I saw an opportunity to build more than just a real estate office—We wanted to create a hub for agents to grow, not just in their business but in leadership through the brokerage, and continue to have an impact in the community.”

KW Cares is a 501(c)(3) public charity established to support Keller Williams associates and their families in times of hardship resulting from a sudden emergency. The charity is the heart of Keller Williams culture in action – finding and serving the higher purpose of business through charitable giving in the market centers and communities where Keller Williams associates live and work.

Our Mission

To build careers worth having, businesses worth owning, lives worth living, experiences worth giving,
and legacies worth leaving.

Profit Shares

At KW St. Johns, profit share is more than a financial benefit; it’s an expression of our values. With zero risk and unlimited earning potential, Profit Share rewards associates for contributing to the growth of our market center. Rather than taking profits off the top, our owners share them back with those who helped build the business.

Each month, the market center distributes a portion of its owner’s profit to associates who have recruited and supported productive agents. While owners receive a larger share, the model ensures that agents are recognized and rewarded for their role in collective success, even as the organization scales. The structure spans multiple levels, so even contributions farther down the chain are valued, with percentages that never dip below 5%.

By participating in Profit Share, you’re not just an agent; you become a stakeholder in the long-term success and legacy of KW St. Johns.

Inclusion And Belonging

At KW St. Johns, we believe that diversity and inclusion are essential foundations of our culture, because every person deserves to thrive. We’re committed to building a community where everyone can bring their full, authentic self to the work we do, knowing they belong and are valued.

As Gary Keller once said, “I believe we can set an example within the industry by committing more of ourselves to a better and equitable future.” We support this through:

  • Local DEI initiatives and training

  • Affinity Groups for shared experiences and mutual support

  • An inclusive leadership mindset that listens, learns, and acts

Here, you’re not just an associate, you’re part of a culture of respect and belonging, where every voice matters.
